The lack of connection is mainly caused by:
This step by step tutorial will show you a few ways to fix the ‘ERR_CONNECTION_RESET’ error.
This method is meant to ensure that your internet connection is working
Restart your router and your computer. Retry to access the website. If your error is still present, move to Step 2.
Attempt to access another website. If the error is still present, you should contact your ISP about your internet issue.
However, if another website works correctly, you should attempt to access the website on another device (preferably on another network). If the website works on another device using a different network, then there is a high chance that your ISP has blocked access. You should contact your ISP for clarification
You need to disable any VPN connections or any active firewall applications. Check if the error is still persistent. If the error is still there, move on to Method #2.
Click on the options at the far right of the search bar and select ‘Settings’ as illustrated below:
Navigate to the bottom and hit ‘Advanced’ to open advanced settings.
Under ‘Reset and clean up’, choose the first option as shown below:
You need to confirm the reset action by hitting ‘Reset settings’ as shown below:
You now need to Restart Chrome browser for the changes made to take effect. This method is known to fix the ‘ERR_CONNECTION_RESET’ error. However, if you are still getting the same error, move to Method #2.

Restart your Computer for the changes to take effect. If you are still getting the error, move to Method #3.
Right click on the ‘internet/network’ icon on the taskbar and select ‘Open Network & Internet Settings’
You need to click ‘Change adapter options’ as shown below:
Right click on the active network adapter and choose ‘Properties’ as shown below.
Find and double-click on ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)’.
You now need to select ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’ and fill in the gaps as shown in the image below then hit ‘OK’.
You should now retry to access the previously inaccessible website using the new configurations. This should fix the error permanently. However, you can head to method #4 if you still are experiencing the ‘ERR_CONNECTION_RESET’ error.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) helps to mask your actual IP address and hide your real location. This can be a neat trick in case you wish you access a website that is restricted by your ISP. Use of a VPN is also a useful trick to fix the ‘ERR_CONNECTION_RESET’ error. In this method, we will use the free VPN offered by Opera browser
You now need to download and install the Opera browser. After launching, click on the ‘Opera icon’ at the top-left corner then select ‘Settings’ from the list.
Select ‘Advanced’ then ‘Privacy & Security’ from the left panel. You now need to enable VPN as shown in the illustration below.
You can now attempt to access the website after Restarting Opera.
