Note: This tutorial is only helpful if your Windows system has a valid and active license.
Open the file explorer and locate ‘This PC’. Right click on ‘This PC’ and select ‘properties’ as shown in the illustration below:
The tab that opens contains all the system properties as shown in the image below. Under ‘Windows Activation’
If your Windows license is active and you are still experiencing the error, then use the methods below.
Double press ‘Windows Key + R’ and type ‘taskmgr’ then hit ‘OK’ to open the task manager.
Under the Process tab, locate the Windows Explorer process and right click on it. Select Restart Process as shown below to restart
Your ‘Windows license will expire soon’ error should be resolved now. In case the error persists, then move to method 2.
If you don’t have a valid Windows product key, you may need to purchase one from Microsoft or get one from your institution (if the computer is not personally owned). If you already have an active license, follow the steps below to retrieve your active product key for reactivation.
Double press ‘Windows Key +X’ then select ‘Command Prompt (Admin)’ as illustrated below:
You now need to copy and paste the code below onto the command line and hit ‘ Enter’ to view your product key as shown in the image below

Copy and store the product key because you will require it for the reactivation step.
Reopen the system properties tab (repeat steps 1 & 2 of Recommendation) and hit ‘Change product key’ at the bottom right corner as illustrated below:
Paste the product key retrieved in step 3 onto the box that appears then
